Vernon Winter Carnival Parade

Vernon Pride Society will be joining the Vernon Winter Carnival Parade again, this year. The Vernon Winter Carnival theme for 2025 is ‘Back to the 80s’ and so Vernon Pride Society will be decorating their float vehicle in the spirit of Queer 80s Music Icons. Turning up the volume of this playlist as we move along!
Board members will be walking in the parade alongside our float vehicle, and we would love for you to walk with us! Dress in 80s attire, as your favourite 80s music icon, or an outfit showing your Pride!
We will be meeting at 10am in the staging area on 27th Street between 45 and 48 Ave, in time for judging. You can meet us there any time between 10am and 12-noon to walk in the parade with us.
